Scholarships

Apply now! For the 2025-2026 school year, the Airport Community Schools Foundation offers the following scholarships to graduating seniors. The funds for these scholarships are provided by the generous support of community organizations, individuals and families.

All scholarships require that a student graduates from Airport High School, the Airport Center for Education or Airport Middle College.

American Red Cross Scholarship

$500 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior who is interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and who shows the need for financial aid.

Hope Family Farm Scholarship

$1,500 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior who plans on attending a trade school, agricultural science or technical field of study, and/or desires a career as a first responder (examples: police officer, fire fighter, DNR officer, Border Patrol, etc.).

Friends of the South Rockwood Library Scholarship

$500 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior who attended Ritter Elementary School and who plans to attend an accredited college, university or trade school.

Great Lakes Aggregates logo

Great Lakes Aggregates Scholarship

$1,000 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to Airport Community High School senior with at least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year; they must exemplify character through demonstrated leadership and have plans to enroll in a trade school.

Carleton Rotary Club Scholarships (2)

Two $1,000 renewable scholarships | Offered to two Airport Community High School seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year and must be enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary institution. The applicants must exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.” This scholarship is awarded based on community service, academic accomplishments and financial need.

Two $1,000 non-renewable scholarships | Offered to two Airport Community High School seniors with plans to attend an accredited college, university or trade school; for those entering firefighting, law enforcement or the medical field.

$500 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior with at least a 3.0 GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year; they must exemplify the values of honesty, integrity and leadership.

Village Place Apartments Scholarship

$1,000 Scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior with at least a 3.0 GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year; they must exemplify character through demonstrated leadership, hard work in academics, compassion, and involvement in extracurricular activities and volunteer work; full-time enrollment in an accredited post-secondary institution.

$1,000 Scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School Senior with at least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year; they must exemplify character through demonstrated leadership and have plans to enroll in a trade school or plan to pursue a degree in the construction field.

Dale Malone Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior with at least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the first semester of senior year and plans to attend an accredited college, university or trade school with intent to pursue a degree associated with community service.

Guardian Industries logo

Guardian Industries Scholarships (2)

Two $1,500 non-renewable scholarships | Offered to two Airport Community High School seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the first semester of their senior year; they must exemplify character through demonstrated leadership, hard work in academics, compassion, and involvement in the community. This scholarship is for students who are pursuing an engineering degree, such as chemical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering.

“Beating the Odds” Scholarship

$1,000 non-renewable scholarship | Airport High School staff chooses this recipient based on their ability to overcome obstacles and “beat the odds” throughout their high school career. Recipient to be chosen by ACE Department.

Deer Camp Dinner logo

Deer Camp Dinner Scholarship

$1,000 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior with at least a 2.5 GPA at the end of the first semester of senior year and plans to attend an accredited college, university or trade school. Financial need is considered.

Krimmel Family Scholarship

$500 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School Senior pursuing a career in elementary or secondary education.

Airport High School Band Boosters Scholarship

$500 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior concert band student with intentions of enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution. No guidelines on musical intentions while enrolled.

Eric Redmond / Junior Jets Endowed Scholarships (3)

Three $1,000 non-renewable scholarships | Offered to three Airport Community High School seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA and intentions to major in engineering, education, business and/or career and technical education. See additional requirements at link above.

Jet Pride Scholarship

$1,000 non-renewable scholarship | Offered to an Airport Community High School senior who demonstrates “Jet Pride,” and who plans to attend an accredited college, university or trade school.

Ash Carleton Little League – Softball and Baseball (2)

Two $500 non-renewable scholarships | Offered to two Airport Community High School seniors who played one year of little league softball or baseball and who plan to attend a two- or four-year accredited college, university or trade school.

Thomas and Rosella Day Scholarship

Market-dependent; amount announced in February. Non-renewable scholarship | Offered through the Community Foundation of Monroe County.

Community Foundation of Monroe County

The Community Foundation of Monroe County offers over 120 scholarships yearly to Monroe County residents.

Airport Education Association Scholarships (2)

Two $500 non-renewable scholarships | Offered to two Airport Community High School seniors selected by the Airport Education Association based on the students’ activities during their tenure as Airport Jets, GPA, written essay, and letters of recommendation.
