Carleton Rotary Club Scholarships (2)

The Rotary started with the vision of Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world. That commitment endures today through an organization that remains truly international. The Carleton Rotary Club was chartered in 1937.

This scholarship was established by the Carleton Rotary Club to honor and encourage Airport High School seniors who exemplify the high ethical standards promoted by Rotary International. Rotary International is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that promotes humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.
